Disney will open its new exclusive port, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, in June of 2024. Located on the southern peninsula on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, this private Island getaway will welcome visitors to experience the beauty and culture of The Bahamas.
Disney has partnered with local artists, historians, and cultural representatives to create a welcoming and festive environment that is inspired by and reflects the local community. The music, colors, art and architecture will help guests get a feel for authentic Bahamian culture.
While in port, guests will be able to enjoy family fun at a water play area, splash pad and games area, as well as swim and relax on the gorgeous family beach. Adults will enjoy the pink sand and turquoise water at the adults only beach, as well as indulging at one of the three bars. Everyone will enjoy the variety of market-style dining locations. The arts and cultural pavilion will allow guests to learn about and celebrate the traditions of the island.
Because of its location on an island, guests will also be able to take part in port adventures, led by local tour companies, to explore more of Eleuthera if they would like to.
Most cruises to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point are 3,4 and 5 night cruises from Fort Lauderdale, FL, but there are other options as well. The cruises that visit both Disney private ports, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay, are very popular as well.
