If you are retired or active duty military thinking of an Orlando vacation there are several options that you should know about. First is Shades of Green Resort. This Resort is located on Disney property across the street from the Polynesian Resort but is owned and operated by the U.S Department of Defense. It is a gorgeous resort with many deluxe amenities, and the pricing is based on your pay-grade and rank in the military. Disney is currently offering discounted 4,5, and 6-day Military Salute tickets for most of 2024, and there is also a Military resort room discount available for the rest of 2023. Universal Orlando Resort offers a discounted Military Freedom Pass. Sea World offers a Waves of Honor Military Pass, and Legoland offers free and discounted tickets and hotel discounts. Disney Cruise Line also offers special U.S. Military rates on select sailings.
