Gift Experiences Instead of Stuff #17: A perfect Spring Break at Walt Disney World

Thinking of taking the family for a Spring Break vacation? Today we are looking at a trip to the “Most Magical Place on Earth” that combines a great location with the Disney Dining Plan and Memory Maker to create a family vacation that will be remembered forever.

Walt Disney World resort hotels come in 3 categories – Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. While all of the hotels offer many of the same perks, staying in a Deluxe resort gives you access to the best amenities and locations and the most dining options at your resort. For today’s trip we will be looking at the Contemporary Resort which is located just steps from the Magic Kingdom on the Monorail loop. It has several highly acclaimed restaurants and a ton of recreational opportunities. The room that we have chosen is a newly renovated Main Tower Theme Park View room that sleeps up to 5 and has an amazing view of the Magic Kingdom right from your balcony.

The Disney Dining plan is returning in January 2024, and there will be two options to choose from- the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan which provides 2 quick-service meals and 1 snack per night of stay per person, and the Disney Dining Plan which provides 1 table-service meal, 1 quick-service meal and 1 snack per night per person. With the Disney Dining Plan you can use that table-service meal to enjoy a character meal or other sit-down meal every day. This is a great way to enjoy some really memorable meals with your family without having to worry about the bill at the end, it is all prepaid!

Memory Maker is a service which allows you to download all of your ride photos and Photopass photos taken during your vacation.  There are Photopass photographers located all over the parks that can take your picture and even add some magical touches. You can also arrange for a private photo session to capture your family’s memories, and those photos are included in the Memory Maker price as well. Memory Maker is a great way to get lots of great shots of your whole family together enjoying their vacation!

For today’s vacation we included the Main Tower Theme Park View room at the Contemporary Resort, the Disney Dining Plan, Memory Maker, and 5 day base tickets for  a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) for the week of March 16-23. The cost for this amazing vacation is $11,294.
