Gift Experiences Instead of Stuff #5: A Magical Disney Christmas

Nothing can beat the magic of a Christmas spent at “The Most Magical Place on Earth”. A bucket list item for many, today we are going to talk about Christmas in Walt Disney World.

The holiday festivities begin shortly after Halloween and continue through the end of the year. So, if you don’t want to spend the actual holiday away from home, you can come and visit earlier in December (one of the best times of the year to visit, in my opinion). But, if you are dreaming of walking through the “snow” on Main Street U.S.A  on Christmas morning, today we are pricing the perfect vaction for you!

There are so many special events going on during the holiday season. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a specially ticketed event at the Magic Kingdom that runs on select nights in November and December. At this party you can meet characters dressed in their holiday best, enjoy a special holiday themed parade, stage show and fireworks show, and enjoy free cookies and cocoa.

At Hollywood Studios there is a new specially ticketed event called Disney Jollywood Nights that runs select nights in November and December. Intended to be a more glamorous experience, guests can enjoy a number of new shows and themed entertainment, as well as special character interactions.

At EPCOT, the Festival of the Holidays will give you a glimpse of holiday celebrations around the world and you can enjoy the nightly Candlelight Processional featuring a full choir and orchestra. and at Animal Kingdom the Merry Menagerie will delight guests with puppet animals. And, of course, all of the parks and resorts are decked out with decorations to get you into the holiday spirit.

Wilderness Lodge is a deluxe resort located a short boat ride from the Magic Kingdom. It’s Pacific Northwest rustic lodge theme and giant lobby Christmas tree make this one of the coziest places to enjoy the holidays.

The resort features a large pool with waterslide and hot tub, and there are a number of fantastic dining locations to grab a bite to eat or sit down and enjoy a relaxing meal.

This price is based off of a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids (ages 8 & 10)) staying in a water view room with 2 Queen beds and a balcony overlooking the pool or other water feature.
