Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is nestled on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon just steps away from the Magic Kingdom on the monorail loop. From the moment you arrive, indulge in unparalleled service, spacious rooms, and breathtaking views while you enjoy the variety of dining and recreational opportunities that are offered at this beautiful Victorian-inspired resort.

Rooms & Suites

The rooms at the Grand Floridian have been recently renovated with a subtle Mary Poppins theme. Most of the rooms have one King or two Queen beds with a sofa that folds into a twin bed.  They all have a patio or balcony, and, due to the architecture of the buildings, some of them have soaring ceilings.  The rooms are categorized based on the view with a Resort View overlooking a courtyard, marina or pool, a Water View looking out over Seven Seas Lagoon, and a Theme Park View having a view of the Magic Kingdom. There are also Deluxe rooms available that are a bit larger than the standard rooms.

If you want to stay in the main building you have to book a Club Level room with access to the Royal Palm Club. There is also a Sugarloaf Club lounge in the Sugarloaf Key building that provides concierge service to Club Level guests in that building.

There are a number of 1 or 2 bedroom suites as well as some “specialty” suites at the Resort. These suites all include Club Level concierge service and access to one of the two club lounges available at the resort.

studios & Villas

The new Resort Studios are located in the Big Pine Key building. They are very similar to the standard rooms but are a little larger and also include a microwave. They all have 2 Queen Beds with a sofa that pulls down into a twin bed. They all have a patio or balcony and  come with three different views – Standard, Lagoon, or Theme Park.

Deluxe Studios are located in the Villas building at the south end of the resort. A little smaller than the Resort Studios they have a kitchenette, a Queen size bed, a Queen size murphy bed and a single size pull down bed. They come with a Standard or Lake view and they all have a porch or balcony.

The 1,2, or 3 bedroom villas located in the Villas building all include multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, living and dining areas, a washer and dryer, and a balcony.  They have a standard or lake view and can accommodate larger families in a “home away from home”.
