Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground offers a rustic retreat in the heart of the magic at Walt Disney World.  Whether you spend your vacation tent camping, enjoying the luxuries of an RV, or “roughing it” in a homey cabin,  there is room here for all types of campers (and glampers)  to enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors with a touch of Disney magic. 

The campsites

There are more than 800 campsites spread out over 21 loops to accommodate up to 10 guests per site and any camping equipment that you might want to bring. Every site has a picnic table, charcoal grill and water, cable TV, internet & electricity, and all sites except tent/pop-up sites also have sewage hookups. 

Tent or Pop- Up:  10×25 foot concrete pad with room for a pop-up or van camper and up to 2 tents (loops 1500 & 2000).

Full Hook-Up: 10×50 concrete pad with room for an RV and a tent (loops 1600, 1700, 1800, 1900 & 2100).

Preferred: 10×45 concrete pad with room for an RV and a tent. Close to the marina (loops 100, 200 & 300).

Premium:  18×60 concrete pad with room for a large RV (loops 400, 500, 700, 1100, 1200 & 1300).

Premium Meadow: 18×60 concrete pad with room for a large RV. Close to Meadow Trading Post, pool and campfire area (loops 600, 800, 900, 1000 & 1400).

the cabins

The 363 cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort are located in loops 2200-2800. They sleep up to 6 guests in one Queen bed, 1 Full-size sleeper sofa and 1 bunk bed. they also include a full kitchen, dining area, living room and outdoor porch with a grill.  In 2024 the cabins will all be replaced with newer models that will still sleep 6 people.
