Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort features four richly themed areas inspired by the essence of Mexico and the American Southwest, all surrounding a picturesque 22 acre lake. There is a sprawling Mayan  pyramid swim area for families to enjoy, while Gran Destino Tower’s more adult vibe will appeal to business travelers and couples who are looking for a more subtle approach to Disney theming.

Rooms in the Ranchos, Cabanas and Casitas have 2 Queen Beds or 1 King Bed, a spacious work area/desk and a chair. Standard rooms in these areas are available with either a Water View of the lake or pool or  Standard View of the landscaping or parking area.  You can also get a Preferred room which will be located in the Casitas area (Buildings 1,2 and 3) closest to El Centro.

There are also a few suites available in the Casitas area if you are looking for more luxurious accommodations.

Gran destino tower

Gran Destino Tower is located at the front of Coronado Springs Resort where the lobby is. Although it is technically part of Coronado Springs and shares transportation, it feels almost like a separate resort.

The rooms in Gran Destino Tower are slightly larger than the rooms in the rest of the resort. The theming in these rooms is subtle and they are clearly designed with adult solo or couple travelers in mind. There are mostly 2 Queen rooms with a Standard or Water View, but there are also some Standard View King rooms available.

Although not a deluxe resort, Gran Destino Tower does have rooms with Club access as well as a few suites available. There is also a great table service restaurant on the top floor, as well as some cool bars, making Gran Destino tower a nice alternative to a more expensive deluxe resort for the adult traveler.
